Job description:
Guest Relations Management:
- Ensure that guests receive a warm welcome upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Staff Supervision and Training:
- Oversee the front office team, including receptionists, concierge staff, and bellhops, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills, knowledge, and customer service standards.
Reservation Management:
- Manage room reservations and ensure that bookings are accurately recorded in the hotel’s system.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests and any special requests are fulfilled.
Financial Management:
- Monitor the front desk’s financial transactions, including room rates, payments, and billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review.
Front Desk Operations:
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including managing room keys, answering phones, and handling administrative tasks.
- Ensure that the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and welcoming for guests at all times.
Coordination with Other Departments:
- Communicate and collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Coordinate special requests, events, and guest services, ensuring all departments are informed and aligned with guest needs.
