Job description:

Guest Check-In and Check-Out:

    • Handle the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including registration, room assignment, and processing payments.
    • Ensure that all guest information is accurately recorded and that they are provided with all necessary details about their stay.
  • Guest Relations and Service:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing their inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options, enhancing the guest experience.
  • Reservation Management:

    • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring that the hotel's booking system is up-to-date and rooms are allocated effectively.
    • Coordinate with other departments to accommodate special requests or arrangements for guests.
  • Telephone and Communication Handling:

    • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, handle emails, and manage other forms of communication, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly.
    • Relay messages to guests and staff, and manage wake-up calls and other guest services.
  • Billing and Payment Processing:

    • Prepare and manage billing for guests, including room charges, additional services, and incidentals.
    • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and securely, ensuring proper documentation and receipts.
  • Coordination with Other Departments:

    • Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
    • Report any issues or guest complaints to the appropriate department for quick resolution.
